Napkin Design: Sight-Blocker

Napkin Design: Here we post quick ideas we have for potential FREKA products in order to expand the idea of what FREKA is. These are usually made quickly and expressively and should be considered as ideas, not product concepts.

Working in a cafe, library or even an open office brings along a lot of visual distractions. People walking by, cars, cyclists, or even leafs or rain can catch your eyes by moving in your peripheral vision. And every time you’re distracted it can take some time before you are able to get started on your work again.

Which is why we thought of “Sight-Blocker”. It is kind of like a snow goggle, without a lens, that can help you focus only on what is in front of you. By making your field of vision much smaller and blocking your peripheral vision, it makes it less likely for you to be distracted by visual things.
Like snow goggles, it is easy to put on and adjust to your head size, and the flexible nature of the eye-piece makes it comfortable and adjustable to your face.

So, what do you think? Would it be weird to wear these things in public? Should they maybe be more like glasses? Let us know!
